Public Relations & Marketing Executive

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented PR / Marketing Associate, able to write great stories. This individual will be working in a multifunctional environment and will help implement ActiV Technology’s brand marketing strategies, including but not limited to – creating effective marketing collaterals, manage public relations, work with customers to create product’s case studies, plan and execute events, support email marketing, social media marketing, and SEO. You will become a well-rounded marketer with deep knowledge of IoT, Robotics, Software Engineering, and IT.


Public Relations

  • Creates media-worthy consumer stories maximizing media exposure, via pitching and ongoing outreach
  • Monitors for opportunistic consumer trends to build relevant story angles and pitches
  • Develop and edit high-quality written materials, including press releases; pitch letters, blogs, social media
  • Ability to effectively reach media, bloggers, influencer, etc.
  • Define and execute event strategy at major industry conferences, shows



  • Develop relevant marketing strategies and communication plans that align with Company’s directions and business goals
  • Run integrated marketing campaigns, from concept, development and deployment
  • Work with designers, developers and the sales team to create and maintain all marketing collaterals and sales kits that include EDMs, web landing pages, business proposal templates, corporate information decks and product brochures
  • Manage channels such as website, social, electronic direct mailers, SEM to achieve business goals
  • Qualify inbound leads as the first step in the marketing and sales funnel
  • Handle media enquiries
  • Perform research and analysis of potential business segments
  • Plan and execute relevant events and trade shows
  • Undertake ad-hoc projects and related duties as and when required



  • Execute digital communications programs that drive awareness and engagement across all digital channels including blogs, social, web email campaigns, newsletter
  • Execute social media strategy to maximize the brand’s reach and engage social communities across Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, and other emerging media.
  • Schedule daily posts on social media and monitor engagement
  • Write high-quality, engaging blog posts according to marketing strategy



  • Collaborate with teams throughout the company with the opportunity to work on the entire range of content options
  • Concept, write, edit and proofread marketing collateral such as newsletters, digital/web, print materials, press releases, etc.
  • Collaborate with designers and marketing to hone strategy and messaging for projects
  • Develop content for websites, landing pages, apps, marketing material, etc.
  • Support digital marketing by providing creative and highly engaging text for online ads



  • Min Diploma in Mass communication
  • Highly creative writer, with mastery of Standard English spelling, grammar, and style
  • Knowledge of local culture and trends
  • Great presentation skill
  • Experience at a start-ups and/or technology (enterprise) firm highly preferred
  • Ability to develop and generate support for strategic, comprehensive communications plans that apply creative tactics and use a variety of communication channels, including digital (e-mail, social media, blogs and intranet), print publications and brochures, face-to-face meeting scripts/talking points, special events, video, and FAQs.
  • Experience with new digital media and social networking tactics and program development. Strong understanding of communities, monitoring, social networking, blogs, viral marketing and online community relations.
  • You play well with others, at all levels. People “get” you and want to hear more about what you’re saying.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, determine project urgency and execute detailed action plans; ability to collaborate effectively with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Design, and partners.
  • Collaborative with strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to effectively deliver in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with limited supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication (written/verbal) skills.
  • High levels of energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative, flexibility, good humour and commitment
